As part of our ongoing training strategy and adoption of emerging technologies, we held a specialized workshop on Artificial Intelligence with Azure.
Over two intensive days, planned by Rodrigo Conde, Technical Leader, the goal was to strengthen the team's capabilities in developing AI-based solutions, with a focus on cloud-native tools and modern architectural patterns.
Quentin, a smart conversational agent capable of initiating office processes in a natural, AI-assisted way. Quentin, un agente conversacional inteligente capaz de iniciar procesos de oficina de forma natural y asistida por IA.
What is Azure AI?
Azure AI is Microsoft’s suite of artificial intelligence services offered as part of its cloud platform. It enables companies to incorporate cognitive capabilities, computer vision, generative models, natural language processing, and speech synthesis and recognition.
Its key features include:
- Broad range of services: vision, voice, language, decision-making, and generative models
- Integration with other cloud tools cloud: such as Functions, Storage, and more
- Monitoring, authentication, billing, and more: monitoring, authentication, billing, and more
- Responsible development: with a focus on ethics, bias, inclusion, and data privacy
Workshop objectives
The main goals of this workshop were to:
- Train the team in using Azure AI tools
- Learn AI-first architectural patterns, integrating cognitive components from the start
- Promote the development of responsible, cloud-native AI solutions
- Promover la creación de soluciones cloud-native que incorporen IA de forma responsable.
The workshop
Durante el workshop, los colaboradores de Urudata Software During the workshop, Urudata Software’s team dove deep into the Azure AI ecosystem, working with cognitive tools and architectural approaches centered on artificial intelligence. The program combined theory and practice, featuring guided exercises and a hands-on project designed to apply acquired knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Key services explored included Computer Visionfor image analysis, object detection, and facial recognition; Speech Servicesenabling speech recognition and synthesis with control over tone and style; and Natural Language Processing (NLP)for text analysis, entity extraction, and summarization.
The team also worked with generative models using Azure OpenAI integration, exploring concepts like fine-tuning, grounding, and LLM-based architectures. This approach helped participants understand the potential of generative AI in business solutions.
The integrative project, Quentin, was developed iteratively as an intelligent agent capable of initiating office processes through natural conversation, identity verification via images, and action execution—combining multiple AI services into a unified flow.
AI and the future of business development
Adopting Azure AI not only boosts technical innovation, but also redefines the role of artificial intelligence in business processes. With an AI-first approach, companies can:
- Automate high-volume, repetitive tasks
- Deliver more human and personalized experiences
- Extract value from large volumes of data more quickly and accurately
In this context, Azure AI stands out as a key enabler for building agile, secure, and user-centered solutions.
Once again, Urudata Software reaffirms its commitment to learning spaces that empower teams to meet today’s and tomorrow’s challenges with efficiency. Urudata Software apuesta a espacios de aprendizaje que fortalezcan la capacidad de los colaboradores para responder con eficiencia a los desafíos del presente y del futuro.
