Development of ePrios, a web-based platform for Uruguay’s National Directorate of Forensic Police, modernizing the country’s criminal identification and criminal records management processes, including operations at Uruguayan embassies abroad. The modernization project migrated the system from a desktop application to a web platform, eliminating the need for local software installations at each police headquarters while enabling secure access from any location through authorized credentials.
The solution consolidated multiple databases, digitized judicial communications, introduced facial recognition-based identity verification, automated the generation of criminal records and photographic registries, and integrated notification mechanisms, audit trails, and reporting capabilities.
